Our wine tourism roundup of local news & events
Hello,
The week so far has been really wonderful and we're just over halfway there folks!!!
On Monday I managed to get out to two wine releases, Spioenkop and Tesselaarsdal where we got to hear about the trials and tribulations of the early years of winemaking. It was really fascinating hearing all the inside knowledge of these two fantastic people. Looking forward to meeting them again in the near future.
Just saw something on the grapevine which is really great news for the hospitality industry, Ma-Afrika Hotel group in Stellenbosch won their court battle against short term insurers, if you can remember, it was Santam who were refusing to honour Covid-19 business interruption claims! That’s a huge score for an industry that is already struggling around the world. More positive news at least!
