Our wine tourism roundup of local news & events
Hello,
When I attended the Christmas market at the R & S Wine Shop, I met with my good friends Stanley and Cyril who showed me around their shop’s beautiful stash of wine. While admiring all their vino, I was fortunate enough to meet some lovely people, including Janine van Huyssteen, whom I’ve mentioned in our Community Shout Outs & Classifieds section below.
Congratulations to Clive Aaron for starting his pop-up restaurant, the first event was held on Sunday 29th November 2020, which I heard, was a great success, we’ll definitely be keeping an eye out for his next one.
And finally, another huge congratulations goes out to the four brand new Cape Wine Masters, for 2020, who received their hard earned certificates at a beautiful lunch held at the glorious Nederburg Wine Farm.

P.S. I’d really appreciate if you could forward my newsletter to your friends, family and colleagues. Every little bit helps to get more recognition for my new project and at the same time helping businesses get back on their feet! Thanks :)

Shout out to the new vintage of Samantha Suddons of (VineVenom) who has just released her first MCC, I spoke to Sam and managed to taste some of the bottle she had brought into town and it is incredible. A classic blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier, it had notes of green apple flesh, quince and pears, can’t wait for it to be poured by the glass somewhere in town.
