Our wine tourism roundup of local news & events
Hello lovelies,
The first week of December has been so exciting that I just can’t take it, there is so much happening in our wonderful little city.
I got to experience Tuanni Price’s Zuri Wine Kit, which I thought was really interesting & informative at the same time. It focuses on deductive wine tasting, which was a skill I had to teach myself without any prior knowledge.
Another exciting event I got to attend was the unveiling of the SaveSAWine.co.za’s mural in Loop Street, that took place on the First Thursday. One of the people I got to meet was Koni from Koni Wines, an amazing trailblazer, with a passion for sustainable legacy through job creation. A true South African hero! Another wine inspiration I got to meet was Matthew Krone, who specialises in making South African MCC and happens to be one of my favourite wine makers. If there’s such a thing as a wine crush, I was definitely guilty of this.
I also attended the release of WineMag’s Prescient Top 10 Best White Wines held at Lanzerac Wine Estate in Stellenbosch. There were some fabulous participants, all of whom deserved the accolades, 100%. It was such an elegant affair to see everyone in their Sunday best, sipping wine and enjoying a really posh lunch.

P.S. I’d really appreciate if you could forward my newsletter to your friends, family and colleagues. Every little bit helps to get more recognition for my new project and at the same time helping businesses get back on their feet! Thanks :)
