Wines From California To Try Next
Old World wine regions offer a limited range of styles of winemaking and grapes grown. But California breaks all the rules, as many New World wine regions do. Unrestricted by hundreds of years of rules passed down by ruling governments and sovereigns, New World regions are like teenagers finding their way in the world, trying to see what they can offer the wine drinking public.
As with many New World regions, there is a sacred line of price that one shouldn't cross if one wants to get wines that are both delicious and well made. For California, that line is $15 and there are small boutique wineries up and down the Californian coast that will expand your wine drinking horizons.
